Craps is a fast and exciting table game that is a regular in every casino around the world. It revolves around a pair of dice and players can play against each other or against a bank and each bet is won or lost according to the numbers hit by the dice.

All players at the table have a chance to bet on the numbers that the shooter (the person rolling the dice) hits. To begin with, a player must bet the table minimum on either the ‘pass or ‘don’t pass’ line

The shooter then makes a ‘come out roll’ in order to establish a point. If the roll is a 2, 3 or 12 then it is called Craps and all players lose their bets.

If the number is 7 or 11 then it is called a natural and players on the ‘Pass Line’ make a win. The players on the ‘Don’t Pass Line’ lose.

If the number is 4, 5, 6, 8 or 10 then it becomes the ‘point’ and the dealer moves the puck to this number to show all players that this is the point.

The Shooter will then carry on rolling until the point or a 7 is hit. If the point is hit the Pass Line wins and if a 7 is hit then the Don’t Pass line wins.

There are many kinds of bets in Craps, including Pass Odds, don’t Pass Odds, Come Bet, Don’t Come bet and Yo (the player wins is 11 is rolled) but these have to be learned over time. The easiest one to play is the Pass and Don’t Pass bet.
